Puglia loop (2018)
This itinerary was designed to complete our exploration of the Apennine Peninsula, starting first in Naples touring the Sorrentine Peninsula before heading south to the province of Puglia.
A cabrio seemed an appropriate choice for the Amalfi coast and we settled on a little Audi A2, thankfully small enough to navigate the sometimes tight (i.e. fold your mirrors) Amalfitana SS163, aka the Amalfi Drive.
Puglia was astounding, with incredible accomodation and food - the pick of our stays maybe being in the Trulli cottages traditional to the area.
Highlight of the trip was a cliffside lunch followed by a long evening at the annual festival in Polignano a Mare.
